Living Designs provides a variety of services to achieve your goals for your property. As a Certified Landscape Designer, Anne Welles can work with you to determine what services best meet your needs.
After an initial consultation and examination of your property we will decide together how best to proceed, and what you’d like my role to be in the process. Living Designs can provide the following services for you:
Detailed Planting Plan (for existing garden(s) or foundation areas).
This includes a list of appropriate plants, trees and shrubs, as well as a plan showing the location for each plant. The plant list will include cultural information as to the care of the plants. If you have elected to have me supply the plant material (see below), itemized estimated costs will also be provided. If you like, renderings of what the new garden would look like can also be provided.
Full or Partial Property Plan.
Based on how you want to use your outdoor space, I can design a plan for your entire property or just a portion of it. Often, there are specific needs (privacy or screening, play areas for children or pets, entertaining areas) or combinations of needs that must be accommodated. Physical site constraints or relevant local planning ordinances may also affect the type of changes you can make to your property. I can configure several options for you to choose from before proceeding to the finalized drawings. You will have a scaled plan that provides a framework that you can put in place all at once or in phases. Renderings or perspective drawings of specific views can also be provided.
Additional Services: Purchase/Installation/Supervision.
I can select and purchase your plants, trees and shrubs for you. Also, if you choose, I can supervise the contractors needed to install plantings, hardscaping or other plan elements.
Containers and Seasonal Arrangements.
I also design and put together pots and containers of all sizes for indoor or outdoor use, and seasonal arrangements for holiday decorating.
